C Hanlon continue to provide a lifeline in the event of emergency works for domestic and commercial customers. We are committed to complying with government guidelines concerning restrictions and safe working practices during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are on an approved list with local authorities and housing associations to provide reactive maintenance and emergency services for people in need.
We will not be carrying out non-essential installations but will instead focus our efforts on essential repair and emergency maintenance work.

Health and safety is our priority
- The health and safety of our staff and customers is our priority and as such we have put in place a number of measures to ensure we can provide vital services for the duration of the government restrictions.
- We are currently operating a ‘one man, one van’ policy to minimise staff contact.
- Where a job requires two or more C Hanlon staff, they will carry out a risk assessment to determine the viability of proceeding.
- If the risk assessment highlights a potential health and safety breach of government guidelines our Environmental Services division will carry out a thorough disinfection of the property (household or business premises) before proceeding with the work.
- All C Hanlon staff working on site will keep a safe distance wherever possible from customers and other C Hanlon staff.
If you require any of the vital services listed above and you or anyone else in your household or place of work have COVID-19 symptoms you MUST inform C Hanlon before any of our staff arrive at your home or premises. We will assess whether or not we can carry out the work required and contact you to let you know.
