Thirty-two big-hearted (some would say foolhardy) members of TEAM C HANLON will be tackling the Great Scottish Run 10k and Half Marathon on 2nd October in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity.
This charity is especially close to our hearts as our beloved colleague and friend Simon Tyson unfortunately lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer earlier this year.
Many of us are complete novices (some couldn’t run the length of themselves) but we train every Tuesday and Thursday after work (fortunately, the parks have started warning people about us) and follow a strict Olympic standard training regime which we have no doubt will hone us into models of athletic perfection.
Joking aside, all of TEAM C HANLON would be very grateful if you could help us reach our £2000 target. Any and all donations are welcomed, whether it be £1 or £100.
