An appeal by C Hanlon’s Leeanne Goodman:
In my wisdom I have decided it is time to take off the sparkly shoes and walk over hot coals all in aid of MND Scotland!
MND tragically took the life of my niece Emma at the age of 16. She was the world’s youngest sufferer. It is a disease with no known cure, so the biggest thing we can do is raise awareness and support the charity who supported our family through it all.
On Friday 13th October I and some other crazy volunteers will be at Hampden Stadium in Glasgow hoping and praying for snow to cool our aching feet after walking through 20ft of burning coals. Any donations, no matter if it’s a 50p you’ve had kicking about the floor of your van, would be gratefully appreciated.
