Thermal Imaging Glasgow
By using the latest thermal imaging technology we are able to offer our clients a report on their property showing the building’s performance. Amongst other applications, it can be used to identify where a heating system is losing water, where a roof is losing heat or which windows are letting warm air escape.
Identify energy cost savings for your property and improve your property’s energy performance.
Do you need to know if your heating system is losing water, where your roof is losing heat or which windows are letting in cold air?
C Hanlon’s latest Thermal Imaging technology can identify all these problems and more which can show how you could reduce your energy bills.
C Hanlon’s Glasgow-based Energy Assessors have experience, expertise and training by FLIR Systems.

Commercial Applications for Thermal Imaging
How many hours and days of production are lost due to machinery breaking down or accidents at work due to the lack of Condition Monitoring?
Infrared cameras are quickly becoming more and more common in factories for quality control and continuous measurement of temperature in the production process known as Condition Monitoring (CM) or Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).
What is Condition Monitoring or Condition Based Maintenance?
It is a function in which Infrared Thermography is used to optimise maintenance to keep production running smoothly and safely at the lowest possible cost i.e. using non-contact or non-destructive testing.
Examples of Condition Monitoring Applications
Domestic Electrical Maintenance
Of the 20,000 annual household electrical fires 60% are caused by faulty domestic appliances.
- Electrical fault detection
- Buildings – heat loss or water ingress
- Inefficient furnaces and boilers
- Mechanical friction
- Tanks and vessels
- Fluid flow problems (blocked pipes feeding tanks and vessels)
Almost every factory loses 5 to 20% of its productive capacity from downtime due to lack of maintenance.
Downtime costs can be divided into tangible and intangible costs. The tangible costs are lost capacity, lost production, faulty product, loss of revenue while the intangible costs are not so visible – flexibility, innovation, stress and goodwill.
By using thermal imaging we can prevent small events becoming costly insurance claims, by identifying and recommending the most cost effective solution to our clients.
A cost effective solution with minimum disruption!
