C Hanlon provide internal wall insulation services in Glasgow and throughout the Central Belt of Scotland.
Why use Internal wall Insulation
Older houses that were built before the 1920s are more likely to have solid walls rather than with two layers of bricks or masonry with a gap in between (cavity walls). Heat escapes more easily through solid walls than through cavity walls which means that older houses are harder to heat and generally less energy efficient than more modern houses. Installing internal wall insulation is a great answer to this problem.
Installing Internal Wall Insulation
The internal walls are fitted with a layer of insulation of varying thicknesses followed by a layer of plasterboard which are designed to be plastered over for painting or decorating.
Benefits of Internal Wall Insulation
- Cheaper than external wall insulation
- No maintenance
- Save money on heating bills
- A warmer home during colder months
- Extends the life of your boiler
- Improves sound insulation
C Hanlon provide the complete internal wall insulation service from the initial free, no obligation survey of the internal walls to check they are fit for applying the insulation materials. This involves checking for flatness of the walls, damage or dampness. Our insulation engineers will then design the insulation ready for the installation.
