Legislation for Landlords

Roofing and Building
C Hanlon Roofing and C Hanlon Building can assess a property to ensure the structure and exterior, various installations, fixtures, fittings and appliances are satisfactory and can carry out work to bring these up to the legal standard.
Installations for water, gas, electricity and sanitation must be proper working order. C Hanlon are an all Trades Company that can carry out all the repairs and maintenance necessary to ensure that you comply fully with regulations.
The property must be fitted with suitable fire detection devices including at least one smoke alarm in every room, circulation space (halls and landings) and kitchen. C Hanlon Electrical provide comprehensive detection systems for homes to help protect against fire, carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning and excess heat.

Landlords’ property must have a current gas safety certificate and landlords must ensure gas appliances, fittings and flues in premises they rent are safe for tenants.
Gas Safe registered engineers from C Hanlon Heating can carry out a mandatory annual boiler service and gas safety check and issue landlords with a gas safety certificate.
